Meet Our Board Member

Mark Bawden

Mark Bawden is a Davenport native and currently resides in Bettendorf Iowa. He retired as chairman of his family company, Bawden Printing Inc., formerly in Eldridge Iowa. Mark and his wife, Rita, have three adult children and nine grandchildren. Mark has served on several corporate boards in the Quad Cities and also has been an active community volunteer. Mark recently retired after serving 23 years as a board member, including four years as board chairman, of Genesis Health System. Mark is proud to be one of the founding board members of Genesis Philanthropy, the predecessor organization to Better Health Foundation. Mark and Rita enjoy golf, travel and spending time at grandchildren’s sporting events.
